The Ericsson Globe is a building in Stockholm. It is the largest hemispherical building in the world. It is also represents the sun in the largest permanent scale model of the Solar System.
The inner planets - those closest to the sun - are also in Stockholm. The further planets are scattered across Sweden.
The model is on a scale of 1: 20 million. It includes the planets, and some of their satellites, dwarf planets and a number of other celestial bodies, such as asteroids and comets.
The outer planets are located in cities along the Baltic Sea. For example, Saturn is in an observatory in Uppsala. And Neptune is in Soderhamn. Pluto's model, which is only 12 cm in diameter is located in Delsbo 300 km from the Ericsson Globe.
